WordPress 2.7 and Comcast

Hi Guys and Gals,
I wanted to let you know about some news with me and this site, first of all I did an upgrade to wordpress. I was a little reluctant on upgrading wordpress because of the erlyer bugs in the older versions. but after hearing some very good reviews and stories about version 2.7, I did the upgrade and it went smooth as ice in December (opps it is still December), The dash board is very nice and not as cluttered as 2.6 but now I have to get used to the Drupal looking interface.

The other good news is I got a letter from Comcast they are giving me the “High Speed Proformance” Internet package, meaning 6mb down and 1mb up starting January 20th. The odd thing is when I went to do a speed test with speakeasy.com and I get about 5mb down and 300kb up, BUT when I do my own test like with this web server, downloads are only 700kb down and 45kb up THAT SUCKS! I dont know where these guys who do the speed tests are from but I dont get anywhere near that speed I only WISH I had that speed, anyway Comcast is discontinuing the “lite package” and are giving an upgrade to those who are on that plan at the same price YAY!

Oh and I almost forgot I figured out how to put a paypal donation button on the side bar and I know if you click the post link it will show the donation link, but I want it to show in the main page at the end of the post so I will be doing that also.
Well I’m off to bed have a Merry Christmas and I will Talk to you in the New Year.

According to apple “Your podcast will be searchable within the iTunes Store in approximately 1-2 days.”
48 hours!!! (as I’m shaking my head) its a shame that it takes them 24 hours PLUS another 24-48 to make it searchable COME ONE anyway there it is have fun :D

Acording to Podnutz.com, Steve is going to be back Dec 1st, so I am going to be doing my Live Shows on Wednesday’s at 7:30PM EST and Saterday’s @ 2:00PM EST, and if Steve canceled a show I might fill in the time slot
