Windows 7 beta 1 Version 7000 leaked

Leaked Windows 7 Beta Hides Vulnerabilities
The first beta of Windows 7 is out—illegally on BitTorrent.
Cool, right? mmm no. You can get a copy and run it before you’re supposed to. But that might be a mistake, especially if you’re not careful. Turns out that it’s impossible to apply security updates to the bootleg version, including the recent “out of band” update for a seriously critical vulnerability in Internet Explorer.
The torrented build was a daily build for the beta, and anyone who was supposed to have access to it has access to more recent builds which probably incorporate the fix. Microsoft has no good reason to release a patch for this version.
So bootleg at your own Risk.

Windows 7 end user license agreement (EULA)

You can install as many copies as you want.

You may install and use any number of copies of the software on your premises to design, develop and test your programs for use with the software.
Don’t use it in a production environment.

You may not use the software in a live operating environment unless Microsoft permits you to do so under another agreement.
The software expires on August 1, 2009
It’s OK to install in a virtual machine.

Instead of using the software directly on the licensed device, you may install and use the software within only one virtual (or otherwise emulated) hardware system on the licensed device.
You’ll need to take a few extra steps to lock down your privacy.

Because this software is a pre-release version, we have turned on some internet-based features by default to obtain feedback about them […] You may switch off these features or not use them.
Activation and validation are alive and well
No benchmarks allowed.

You may not disclose the results of any benchmark tests of the software to any third party without Microsoft’s prior written approval.
